Good Vibes Shawl

Follow this simple and easy pattern to complete your good vibes shawl for fall.

To finish up this beautiful shawl it is a very simple and beautiful granny stitch in rows. This is called the stripe panel which was demonstrated in the crochet & yoga tutorial many months ago! This is the easy written pattern which I learned when I crocheted the “Out of the box shawl“ by Yarnspiration. Link provided at end of blog.

By implementing the “Stripe Panel” rows you can add more rows as needed to make the shawl the width and length you want for yourself or another individual you are making it for.

First you want to use the stripe panels to connect your squares. You will then stitch or connect the panels to granny square by your choice of stitch. I find using a single crochet to attach granny square to stripe panel is simplest if you are new crocheter.

NOTE: Start with stripe panels to attach the three granny. (Step 1) Once this is one stripe stitches together. Then you will begin to the stripe panel on bottom of the long end of shawl. (Step 2).

You will need

STEP 1:

Set up row: (WS). Wrong side.

2 sc in corner of the ch3 space. *ch 3 sc in next chain 1 space of granny square.• Repeat ** to end of the square. 2 sc into the last corner or granny square. Turn.

Row 1: (RS) Right side. Ch 1 dc into the first sc, ch 1 skip next sc, * 3 dc into next ch 3 space* Repeat ** to end. 1 dc into last sc stitch. Turn.

Row 2: (WS) Ch 1, sc in first dc, sc into first dc, sc into first ch1 space. * ch3 skip 3 dc sc into the next ch1 space* Repeat ** to end of row. End with sc in last dc. Turn.

Rows now repeat changing colours every 4th row.

Row 3: Repeat row 1.

Row 4: Repeat row 2. ( change colour at end of row.)

Row 5: Repeat row 1.

Row 6. Repeat row 2

Row 7. Repeat row 1.

Row 8. Repeat row 2.

( change colour at end of row.)

Row 9. Repeat row 1

Row 10. Repeat row 2.

Row 11. Repeat row 1

Row 12. Repeat row 2.

Repeat these rows for the panels to attach each granny until it is the desired WIDTH of shawl.

STEP 2:

Repeat above rows to the bottom of shawl. This will create the length of your Good Vibes Shawl.

STEP 3:

Sew in all ends.

❤️ I find it helpful to draw it out on paper to see how it will all fit together.
